Derotation Law

When the radio altimeter indicates an altitude of less than thirty
feet, a negative pitching effect is introduced into the flight
mode logic.

This is added to the reference attitude, (detected @ fifty feet)
and creates an attitude of negative two degrees occuring over a time
span of eight seconds. The result is a nose down pitching moment that
the pilot must take into account with the resulting activity of
"derotation."
